Getting out, being active and connecting with other people is really important for our health and wellbeing - But what if it’s not that easy to leave the house and find a community?

Here, creativity is not just a skill; it's a lifeline, enhancing mental health, quality of life, and longevity.

Woodrow's Workshop is a free, virtual space for people aged 55 and older from anywhere in the world. Each week, you’ll dive into the World of Woodrow, where creativity flourishes and lifelong learning is at the heart of what we do. Experience live creative demonstrations, join meaningful discussions, and develop new skills in a welcoming, supportive community. Want to work on a personal project? We’ll provide feedback. Not sure where to start? We've got ideas to spark your creativity. Think you're not creative? We'll help you discover just how creative you truly are! Visit our Project Gallery for inspiration.

How does it work?

  • The workshop is open to individuals aged 55 and older.

  • It takes place weekly on Zoom, and all you need to join is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access, an email address, and an open mind.

  • The workshop is fully virtual, and all sessions are live with an instructor (not pre-recorded), as we believe human connection is important.

  • Sessions are held on Tuesdays and last 75 minutes, with no obligation to attend every week.

  • Instruction is in English, with French coming in 2025.

  • We strive to create a safe and accessible space, and all participants must follow our code of conduct.
